Your Zante Currants are delicious. I just wish there was a way for your customers to know whether they are ordering regular-size currants OR your mini-currants OR a bag of mixed-size currants. The first ones I ordered happened to be all mini and they were perfect. I've ordered at least six one-pound bags since in search of a bag full of mini's again. I only opened one of the four most recently received and they are of the mixed size. I don't find the colour of the packaging nor the wording on the site to be of sufficient help in guiding me which ones to purchase, which is why I came directly to Amrita in the first place, because the info on Amazon was not 100% reliable for my preference.

Our family enjoys baking and enjoy making the treats from the Great British Baking show. The currents are a great pop of sweet/tart flavor in various baked goods.
I first ordered this product on Amazon. I was not sure what I would be getting, but I needed currans for a carrot cake recipe that I was making. I received the product quickly and the currents were delicious. They were the perfect size for my bite sized creations. I also used them later for my oatmeal raisin cookies, which turned out superb. I got many raves for both deserts. My nephew who hates raisin cookies could not get enough. He told me that he does not like raisins but these ones were so sweet and plump and made the cookies really stand out. I did soak them in water to plump them up, before using them in my recipes. I have an obsession with tiny bite sized desserts and the currents are the best sized raisins to use in order to get whole raisins into each bite. I would definitely recommend this product, in fact I reordered this again to make more cookies and desserts for Christmas. Good thing I had the bad to see which brand I used last time. Thanks for a superior product and fast delivery.

Great taste
Have always liked currents. They taste a lot like raisins, but just the little difference makes them special. I like them in my old-fashioned oatmeal for breakfast. This package was fresh, soft, and quite flavorful.
These are sweetened raisins
They taste like they have added sugar, though the package says no sugar added. They are definitely not a real black currant. My fault for not knowing the difference in a Zante currant and the real thing. If you like real sweet raisins, they're really good. Not at all what I wanted. The real black currants cost a lot more than these and will have a tart flavor.
These are CURRANTS Folks-not golden raisins-there are differences.
Small, dark and chewy from Black Corinth grape cultivars. I've searched high and low for them to no avail locally. Thankfully, Amazon hooked me up with these folks and voila-fresh Greek currants on my porch in a few days. I'm making dolmas and most other "raisins" are too big and too sweet. These are perfect.
Better than some
I don't have much experience using currants, but these seem fine. I tried Sunmaid, but I didn't like them much. I came back and bought more Amrita after that.
Delicious
Resealable packaging makes storing easy and keeps product fresh. These currents were delicious; I used them in Irish soda bread and got great reviews from family and friends.
Flavorful and soft!
These currants are nice and soft and oh, so flavorful! I love these - they taste just like I remember them tasting when I was a kid.We have had muffins and scones and just eaten them plain as well.
Plump and flavorful currents!!!!
I love currents. But store currents are expensive and quite dry. Thought I would try these as I do a lot of baking. They are wonderful. Very plump and fresh. Not as dry and shriveled as store brands. I couldn't help eating them from the bag! Had some on celery with peanut butter just like kids like they were so good. I originally bought them for my favorite scone recipe. They came quickly too. I could definitely over eat these things. Addictive haha. Thank you will definitely will order again
Currents, a lost food.
So very happy to know I can order Currents for brloved recipes. The currents have disappeared from grocery shelves the past three+ years . Finding them available on Amazon, at a fair price and delivery to my door is wonderful! Quality is exceptional and my recipes are happy again!
